Kantajew Temple

The popular late Medieval Hindu temple named Kantajew in Dinajpur is one of the most magnificent religious edifices from the 18th century. The beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and his wife Rukmini built by Maharaja Pran Nath in the 17th century. Till now, it boasts one of the best examples of terracotta architecture in the country to mesmerize your eyes.

Rajbari

From 1806, the Rajbari Palace stood as a symbol of prosperity in the entire greater Dinajpur district. But, when the Tenancy Act was formed in 1951, it demolished the zamindary system. Since then, the palace was abandoned and the last zamindar Jagadishnath died in 1972 in Kolkata. Now, what’s only left at the palace is the ruins of the old zamindari land, which undoubtedly serves as a great historic site for you to visit.
